Open Source 3-D Printer Turns Designs Into Objects
on January 3rd, 2012 at 4:57 pmPosted In: Printer Videos

Wired.com checks out MakerBot’s Cupcake CNC 3-D Printer. Making aid of PLA, ABS, or HDPE plastic, this open fund, kit makes it doable for the consumer to dream up tiny objects of practically any shape.
anyone else thinking of homemade legos?..
excellent fee thought it would be a lot more expensive
Take a trip around the world including and Naughty women mworld5.info
Flying saucer please.
@rgbgdrunkenmaster I agree that a lot of the aid-case examples they produce of these hobbyist 3-D printers are sweet ridiculous from a practical standpoint. I reckon possibly they’re stretching a morsel, trying to find ways the apparatus can be useful to broadcast.
I build models, so having a apparatus that can print plastic parts (flush if they have a rough surface, so long as the shapes are accurate) could be very useful to me. But possibly I’ll just try shapeways for a while before building a apparatus.
@chrisdude1001 I would get on to a mold of one of your mom’s boobs. Probably the right one, the left one is starting to sag.
Toxic does not = cancer.
Toxic = poisonous if exposed to too greatly
Carcinogen = cancer.
Education = excellent.
The only thing stopping me from export is that I can see very serious limitations to the models that can be constructed through this extrusion process.
@bassnvideogames Why go buy a guitar when you can have the satisfaction of designing and making your own?
@rgbgdrunkenmaster It can also print PLA a biodegradable plastic through from starch.
@XiXgirboyXiX Finally someone on YouTube who in fact makes significance.
@turf7227 god are you dumb? EVERYTHING GIVES YOU CANCER.
but no really, hes just stupid and thinks toxic = cancer and aids.
just ignore the tards.
@rgbgdrunkenmaster 1. Therma-Plastic is non-toxic. 2. You can get on to the kit for less than $950, or just get on to it urself since its open-fund. 3. Flush if it were toxic, how could it produce u cancer?
Aid soft silicon and get on to some masturbation bits and pieces at home!
sure. i pay 950 dollars to rebuild my fucking fussball plastic player and a plastic wine glass that probaly gives me cancer since the plastic is toxic.
thankfulness for the incredible inovation.
…But can it mess about DVD’s?
@MrHeadcrab Also, since you can take one of these and hook a dremel to it and turn it into a classic subtractive CNC, you can do a lot more than just get on to clean modest crap, and since the boards are open, you can scale it as huge as you want.
Desktop manufacturing is in it’s infancy, a modest help would be nice. Flush if you in person don’t see a aid, it isn’t a dissipate. Currently, unless you in person have built whatever thing as pioneering as this, credentials suggest you check your attitude at the door.
